حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ حَدَّثَنَا سَيْفٌ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ مُجَاهِدًا يَقُولُ كَانَ السَّائِبُ بْنُ أَبِي السَّائِبِ الْعَابِدِيُّ شَرِيكَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَي

Body (Matn)

ْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ قَالَ فَجَاءَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَ فَتْحِ مَكَّةَ فَقَالَ بِأَبِي وَأُمِّي لَا تُدَارِي وَلَا تُمَارِي

English Translation

Rawh narrated to us, Sayf narrated to us, he said: I heard Mujahid say: Al-Sa'ib ibn Abi al-Sa'ib al-'Abidi was the business partner of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ before Islam in trade. He came to the Prophet ﷺ on the day of the Conquest and the Prophet ﷺ said: 'Welcome to my brother and my partner. He never cheated nor disputed.'
