Hadith #345
Arabic Text
قَالَ وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّ الْفُسَّاقَ هُمْ أَهْلُ النَّارِ قِيلَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ وَمَنْ الْفُسَّاقُ قَالَ النِّسَاءُ قَالَ رَجُلٌ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَوَلَسْنَ أُمَّهَاتِنَا وَأَخَوَاتِنَا وَأَزْوَاجَنَا قَالَ بَلَى وَلَكِنَّهُمْ إِذَا أُعْطِينَ لَمْ يَشْكُرْنَ وَإِذَا ابْتُلِينَ لَمْ يَصْبِرْنَ
English Translation
And the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Indeed the wicked ones (fusaq) are the people of the Fire.' It was said: 'O Messenger of Allah, who are the wicked ones?' He said: 'The women.' A man said: 'O Messenger of Allah, are they not our mothers, our sisters, and our wives?' He said: 'Indeed, but when they are given, they are not grateful, and when they are tested, they are not patient.'
