حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ قَالَ يَعْلَى بْنُ عَطَاءٍ أَنْبَأَنِي قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عُمَارَةَ بْنَ حَدِيدٍ رَجُلٌ مِنْ بَجِيلَةَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ صَخْرًا الْغَامِدِيَّ رَجُلٌ مِنْ الْأَزْدِ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ لِأُمَّتِي فِي بُكُورِهَا قَالَ وَك
َانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا بَعَثَ سَرِيَّةً بَعَثَهُمْ أَوَّلَ النَّهَارِ وَكَانَ صَخْرٌ رَجُلًا تَاجِرًا وَكَانَ لَهُ غِلْمَانٌ فَكَانَ يَبْعَثُ غِلْمَانَهُ مِنْ أَوَّلِ النَّهَارِ قَالَ فَكَثُرَ مَالُهُ حَتَّى كَانَ لَا يَدْرِي أَيْنَ يَضَعُهُ

English Translation
'Affan narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us, Ya'la ibn 'Ata' informed me, he said: I heard 'Umarah ibn Hadid, a man from Bajilah, he said: I heard Sakhr al-Ghamidi, a man from al-Azd, that the Prophet ﷺ said: 'O Allah, bless my ummah in their early morning.' He said: And the Prophet ﷺ would dispatch his military expeditions at the beginning of the day. Sakhr was a merchant, and he would send his trade at the beginning of the day, and he became wealthy.
