English Translation

ʿAbdullāh narrated to us, saying: al-Layth ibn Khālid al-Balkhī Abū Bakr narrated to me, saying: ʿUmar ibn ʿAlī narrated to us, from Abū Ḥāzim, from Sahl ibn Saʿd (رضي الله عنه) who said: The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: 'A morning expedition or an evening expedition in the cause of Allāh is better than the world and all that it contains.'
