English Translation
'Affan narrated to us, Salim ibn Hayyan narrated to us, Sa'id ibn Mina' narrated to us, from Jabir ibn Abdullah (رضي الله عنهما) who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'My parable and your parable is like that of a man who lit a fire, and the moths and grasshoppers began falling into it, while he tried to keep them away. I am seizing your waistbands to pull you away from the Fire, but you are slipping from my hand.'
