English Translation
Ismāʿīl narrated to us: Ayyūb narrated to us, from Abū Qilābah who said: Abū Sulaymān Mālik ibn al-Ḥuwayirth (رضي الله عنه) came to our mosque and said: 'By Allāh, I will pray, and I do not intend the prayer [for its own sake], but rather I want to show you how I saw the Prophet ﷺ pray.' He said: So he prayed and sat, and when he raised his head from the second sajdah, he sat briefly before standing up.
