حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ حَدَّثَنَا زَبَّانُ عَنْ سَهْلٍ عَنْ أَبِيه

ِ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ إِنَّ السَّالِمَ مَنْ سَلِمَ النَّاسُ مِنْ يَدِهِ وَلِسَانِهِ

English Translation

Ḥasan narrated to us: Ibn Lahīʿah narrated to us: Zabbān narrated to us, from Sahl, from his father [Muʿādh ibn Anas al-Juhanī] (رضي الله عنه), from the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ who said: 'The one who is safe is the one from whose hand and tongue the people are safe.'
