English Translation

Aswad ibn 'Amir narrated to us, al-Hasan — meaning Ibn Salih — narrated to us, from Abu al-Zubayr, from Jabir (رضي الله عنه) who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'A city-dweller must not sell on behalf of a desert-dweller. Leave the people so that Allah may provide for some of them through others.'
