حَدَّثَنَا سَكَنُ بْنُ نَافِعٍ حَدَّثَنَا صَالِحُ بْن
ُ أَبِي الْأَخْضَرِ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَامِرِ بْنِ رَبِيعَةَ أَنَّ أَبَاهُ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّهُ رَأَى رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصَلِّ فِي السُّبْحَةِ بِاللَّيْلِ فِي السَّفَرِ عَلَى ظَهْرِ رَاحِلَتِهِ حَيْثُ تَوَجَّهَتْ بِهِ

English Translation
Sakan ibn Nāfiʿ narrated to us: Ṣāliḥ ibn Abī al-Akhḍar narrated to us, from al-Zuhrī, saying: ʿAbdullāh ibn ʿĀmir ibn Rabīʿah informed me that his father [ʿĀmir ibn Rabīʿah] (رضي الله عنه) informed him that he saw the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ praying the voluntary prayers (sunan) on his mount, wherever it faced, while traveling.
