حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَامِرِ بْنِ رَبِيعَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّ رَجُلًا مِنْ بَنِي فَزَارَةَ تَزَوَّجَ امْرَأَةً عَلَى نَعْلَيْنِ فَأَجَازَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نِكَاحَهُ
English Translation
Wakīʿ narrated to us: Sufyān narrated to us, from ʿĀṣim ibn ʿUbaydillāh, from ʿAbdullāh ibn ʿĀmir ibn Rabīʿah, from his father [ʿĀmir ibn Rabīʿah] (رضي الله عنه) that a man from Banū Fazārah married a woman for [a dowry of] two sandals. the Prophet ﷺ approved his marriage and said: 'Are you content with yourself and your wealth [at this amount]?' She said: 'Yes.' So he approved it.
