حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَةُ وَحَجَّاجٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي شُعْبَةُ عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ
اللَّهِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عَامِرِ بْنِ رَبِيعَةَ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَخْطُبُ يَقُولُ مَنْ صَلَّى عَلَيَّ صَلَاةً لَمْ تَزَلْ الْمَلَائِكَةُ تُصَلِّي عَلَيْهِ مَا صَلَّى عَلَيَّ فَلْيُقِلَّ عَبْدٌ مِنْ ذَلِكَ أَوْ لِيُكْثِرْ

English Translation
Muḥammad ibn Jaʿfar narrated to us, saying: Shuʿbah informed us. And Ḥajjāj said: Shuʿbah narrated to me, from ʿĀṣim ibn ʿUbaydillāh, saying: I heard ʿAbdullāh ibn ʿĀmir ibn Rabīʿah narrating from his father [ʿĀmir ibn Rabīʿah] (رضي الله عنه) who said: I heard the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ say: 'No person sends blessings upon me except that the angels send blessings upon him as long as he continues to send blessings upon me. So let a person do little or much of that.'
