حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ وَابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبِي عَنْ حَجَّاجِ بْنِ حَجَّاجٍ
عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ مَا يُذْهِبُ عَنِّي مَذَمَّةَ الرَّضَاعِ قَالَ غُرَّةٌ عَبْدٌ أَوْ أَمَةٌ

English Translation
Yaḥyā narrated to us: Hishām narrated to us. And Ibn Numayr said: Hishām narrated to us, saying: my father informed me, from Ḥajjāj ibn Ḥajjāj, from his father (رضي الله عنه) who said: I said: 'O Messenger of Allāh, what removes from me the obligation of fostering [i.e., how can I compensate the wet nurse]?' He ﷺ said: 'A male or female slave [given as a gift to the wet nurse].'
