Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ حَدَّثَنِي جَابِرٌ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ لَا
يُدْخِلُ أَحَدَكُمْ الْجَنَّةَ عَمَلُهُ وَلَا يُنَجِّيهِ عَمَلُهُ مِنْ النَّارِ قِيلَ وَلَا أَنْتَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ وَلَا أَنَا إِلَّا بِرَحْمَةِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ

English Translation
Hasan narrated to us, Ibn Lahi'ah narrated to us, Abu al-Zubayr narrated to us, Jabir narrated to me that he heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: 'None of you will be admitted to Paradise by his deeds, nor will his deeds save him from the Fire.' It was said: 'Not even you, O Messenger of Allah?' He ﷺ said: 'Not even me, unless Allah envelops me with mercy from Him.'
