English Translation

Abū Aḥmad al-Zubayrī narrated to us, Abū al-Nuʿmān ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn al-Nuʿmān al-Anṣārī narrated to us, from his father, from his grandfather — and he had met the Prophet ﷺ — who said: The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: 'Whoever says when he hears the call to prayer: And I bear witness that there is no god but Allāh alone, with no partner, and that Muḥammad is His servant and Messenger. I am pleased with Allāh as Lord, with Muḥammad as Messenger, and with Islam as religion — his sins are forgiven.'
