Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَلَمَةَ الْخُزَاعِيُّ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو هِلَالٍ عَنْ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ هِلَالٍ الْعَدَوِيِّ سَمِعَهُ مِنْهُ عَنْ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ عَنِ الْأَعْرَابِيِّ الَّذِي سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ إِنَّ خَيْرَ دِينِكُمْ أَيْسَرُهُ إِنَّ خَيْرَ دِينِكُمْ أَيْسَرُهُ
English Translation
Abū Salamah al-Khuzāʿī narrated to us, he said: Abū Hilāl informed us, from Ḥumayd ibn Hilāl al-ʿAdawī — he heard it from him — from Abū Qatādah, from the Bedouin who heard the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ say: 'The best religion in the sight of Allāh is the tolerant, pure Ḥanīfiyyah (the religion of Ibrāhīm عليه السلام).'
