حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ عُقْبَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو النَّضْرِ عَنْ رَجُلٍ كَانَ قَدِيمًا مِنْ بَنِي تَمِيمٍ كَانَ فِي عَهْدِ عُثْمَانَ رَجُلٌ يُخْبِرُ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّهُ لَق
ِيَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ اكْتُبْ لِي كِتَابًا أَنْ لَا أُؤَاخَذَ بِجَرِيرَةِ غَيْرِي فَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّ ذَلِكَ لَكَ وَلِكُلِّ مُسْلِمٍ

English Translation
ʿAffān narrated to us, Wuhayb narrated to us, Mūsā ibn ʿUqbah narrated to us, he said: Abū al-Naḍr narrated to me, from a man who was an old member of Banū Tamīm — he was during ʿUthmān's time — a man who reported from his father that he met the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ who said: 'The time is near when a man will have nothing in his hand from his wealth except his zakāh.'
