English Translation
Yaḥyā ibn Saʿīd narrated to us, from Hishām ibn ʿUrwah, who said: my father informed me, from ʿAbdullāh ibn Arqam, that he performed Ḥajj and used to lead his companions in prayer, calling the adhān and the iqāmah. One day he called the iqāmah and then said: 'Let one of you lead the prayer, for I heard the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ say: When one of you needs to relieve himself and the prayer has been established, let him begin with relieving himself.'
