قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ وَعَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الْكَرِيمِ بْنُ أَبِي الْمُخَارِقِ أَنَّ الْوَلِيدَ بْنَ مَالِكِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْقَيْسِ أَخْبَرَهُ وَقَالَ عَبْدُ ا
لرَّزَّاقِ مِنْ عَبْدِ الْقَيْسِ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ قَيْسٍ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ سَهْلًا أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَعَثَهُ قَالَ أَنْتَ رَسُولِي إِلَى أَهْلِ مَكَّةَ قُلْ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَرْسَلَنِي يَقْرَأُ عَلَيْكُمْ السَّلَامَ وَيَأْمُرُكُمْ بِثَلَاثٍ لَا تَحْلِفُوا بِغَيْرِ اللَّهِ وَإِذَا تَخَلَّيْتُمْ فَلَا تَسْتَقْبِلُوا الْقِبْلَةَ وَلَا تَسْتَدْبِرُوهَا وَلَا تَسْتَنْجُوا بِعَظْمٍ وَلَا بِبَعْرَةٍ

English Translation
Rawḥ and ʿAbd al-Razzāq narrated to us, they said: Ibn Jurayj informed us, he said: ʿAbd al-Karīm ibn Abī al-Mukhāriq narrated to me that al-Walīd ibn Mālik ibn ʿAbd al-Qays informed him — ʿAbd al-Razzāq said: from ʿAbd al-Qays — that Muḥammad ibn Qays informed him that Sahl informed him that the Prophet ﷺ sent him, saying: 'You are my messenger to the people of Makkah. Say: The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ has sent me. He conveys salām to you and commands you with three things: Do not swear by other than Allāh; when you go to relieve yourselves, do not face the qiblah nor turn your backs to it; and do not clean yourselves with a bone or animal dung.'
