حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي شُعْبَةُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ عَنْ أَبِي أُسَيْدٍ السَّاعِدِيِّ قَالَ أَبِي و قَالَ ابْنُ جَعْفَرٍ عَنْ أَبِي أُسَيْدٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَيْرُ
دُورِ الْأَنْصَارِ بَنُو النَّجَّارِ ثُمَّ بَنُو عَبْدِ الْأَشْهَلِ ثُمَّ بَنُو الْحَارِثِ بْنِ الْخَزْرَجِ ثُمَّ بَنُو سَاعِدَةَ وَفِي كُلِّ دُورِ الْأَنْصَارِ خَيْرٌ فَقَالَ سَعْدُ بْنُ عُبَادَةَ مَا أَرَى رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَّا قَدْ فَضَّلَ عَلَيْنَا فَقِيلَ قَدْ فَضَّلَكُمْ عَلَى كَثِيرٍ
English Translation
Ḥajjāj narrated to us: Shuʿbah narrated to me, he said: I heard Qatādah, from Anas ibn Mālik, from Abū Usayd al-Sāʿidī. My father said — and Ibn Jaʿfar said: from Abū Usayd — who said: The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: 'The best houses of the Anṣār are Banū al-Najjār, then Banū ʿAbd al-Ashhal, then Banū al-Ḥārith ibn al-Khazraj, then Banū Sāʿidah. And in every household of the Anṣār there is good.'
