حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ

بْنُ ثَابِتٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ مَعْبَدِ بْنِ هَوْذَةَ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَمَرَ بِالْإِثْمِدِ الْمُرَوَّحِ عِنْدَ النَّوْمِ
English Translation
ʿAlī ibn Thābit narrated to us: ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn al-Nuʿmān ibn Maʿbad ibn Hawdhah al-Anṣārī narrated to me, from his father, from his grandfather, that the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ commanded the use of ithmid (antimony kohl) scented with musk at bedtime.
