قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي زِيَادٍ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْأَحْوَصِ الْأَزْدِيِّ عَنْ أُمِّهِ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهَا سَمِعَتْهُ يَقُولُ عِنْدَ جَمْرَةِ الْعَقَبَةِ يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ لَا تَقْتُلُوا أَنْفُسَكُمْ وَارْمُوا الْجَمْرَةَ أَوْ الْجَمَرَاتِ بِمِثْلِ حَصَى الْخَذْفِ هَذَا آخِرُ مُسْنَدِ الْمَكِّيِّينَ
English Translation
Rawḥ narrated to us: Shuʿbah narrated to us, from Yazīd ibn Abī Ziyād, from Sulaymān ibn ʿAmr ibn al-Aḥwaṣ al-Azdī, from his mother, from the Prophet ﷺ, that she heard him say at Jamrat al-ʿAqabah: 'O people, do not kill yourselves! Throw the Jamrah — or the pebbles — with pebbles the size of a chickpea.' This is the end of the musnad of the Makkans.
