قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي زِيَادٍ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ ال
ْأَحْوَصِ عَنْ أُمِّهِ وَكَانَتْ بَايَعَتْ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَتْ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ يَقُولُ وَهُوَ يَرْمِي الْجَمْرَةَ مِنْ بَطْنِ الْوَادِي وَهُوَ يَقُولُ يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ لَا يَقْتُلْ بَعْضُكُمْ بَعْضًا وَإِذَا رَأَيْتُمْ الْجَمْرَةَ فَارْمُوهَا بِمِثْلِ حَصَى الْخَذْفِ

English Translation
ʿAbd al-Razzāq narrated to us: Maʿmar informed us, from Yazīd ibn Abī Ziyād, from Sulaymān ibn ʿAmr ibn al-Aḥwaṣ, from his mother — who had pledged allegiance to the Prophet ﷺ — who said: I heard the Messenger of Allāh say while he was throwing the Jamrah from the bottom of the valley: 'O people, do not kill one another! When you see the Jamrah, throw at it with pebbles the size of a chickpea.'
