English Translation

ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn Mahdī narrated to us, Sufyān narrated to us, from Furāt, from Abū al-Ṭufayl, from Ḥudhayfah ibn Asīd al-Ghifārī who said: The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ looked down upon us from an upper room while we were discussing the Hour. He said: 'The Hour will not come until you see ten signs: the rising of the sun from its west, the Smoke, the Beast, the emergence of Yaʾjūj and Maʾjūj, the emergence of ʿĪsā ibn Maryam, the Dajjāl, three sinkholes — one in the west, one in the east, and one in the Arabian Peninsula — and a fire that emerges from the depths of ʿAdan, driving — or gathering — the people. It spends the night with them wherever they spend the night and rests at midday with them wherever they rest.'
