قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ الزُّبَيْرِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ الْحَ
ارِثِ عَنْ أَبِي الْأَشْعَثِ الصَّنْعَانِيِّ عَنْ أَوْسِ بْنِ أَوْسٍ الثَّقَفِيِّ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ غَسَّلَ وَاغْتَسَلَ ثُمَّ غَدَا فَابْتَكَرَ وَجَلَسَ مِنْ الْإِمَامِ قَرِيبًا فَاسْتَمَعَ وَأَنْصَتَ كَانَ بِكُلِّ خَطْوَةٍ أَجْرُ سَنَةٍ صِيَامُهَا وَقِيَامُهَا

English Translation
Abū Aḥmad al-Zubayrī narrated to us, Sufyān narrated to us, from ʿAbdullāh ibn ʿĪsā, from Yaḥyā ibn al-Ḥārith, from Abū al-Ashʿath al-Ṣanʿānī, from Aws ibn Aws al-Thaqafī who said: The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: 'Whoever washes and bathes, then goes early and arrives early, and sits close to the imam, and listens and remains silent, he shall have for every step the reward of a year's fasting and prayer.'
