Hadith #352
Arabic Text
قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا النُّعْمَا
نُ بْنُ سَالِمٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ فُلَانًا أَوْسٌ جَدُّهُ قَالَ كَانَ جَدِّي يَقُولُ لِي وَهُوَ فِي الصَّلَاةِ يُومِئُ إِلَيَّ نَاوِلْنِي النَّعْلَيْنِ فَأُنَاوِلُهُمَا إِيَّاهُ فَيَلْبَسُهُمَا وَيُصَلِّي فِيهِمَا وَيَقُولُ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصَلِّي فِي نَعْلَيْهِ

English Translation
ʿAffān narrated to us, Shuʿbah narrated to us, al-Nuʿmān ibn Sālim narrated to us, he said: I heard so-and-so whose grandfather was Aws, who said: My grandfather would gesture to me while he was in prayer, [saying:] 'Hand me the sandals.' So I would hand them to him, and he would put them on and pray in them, saying: 'I saw the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ pray in his sandals.'
