English Translation
Bahz narrated to us, Ḥammād ibn Salamah narrated to us, from Yaʿlā ibn ʿAṭāʾ, from Wakīʿ ibn ʿUdus, from his uncle Abū Razīn, from the Prophet ﷺ who said: 'A dream is suspended on the leg of a bird as long as its owner does not speak of it. Once he speaks of it, it falls [into reality]. Do not relate it except to a scholar, a sincere adviser, or a person of discernment. A righteous dream is one-fortieth part of prophethood.'
