حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ عَنْ بُكَيْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ قَالَ سُلَيْمَانُ لِع
َبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ جَابِرٍ حَدِّثْ فَحَدَّثَ عَنْ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ بْنِ نِيَارٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا جَلْدَ فَوْقَ عَشْرِ جَلَدَاتٍ إِلَّا فِي حَدٍّ مِنْ حُدُودِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ

English Translation
Yaḥyā ibn Isḥāq narrated to us, he said: Ibn Lahīʿah informed us, from Bukayr ibn ʿAbdillāh, who said: Sulaymān said to ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn Jābir: 'Narrate!' So he narrated from Abū Burdah ibn Niyār, who said: The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: 'Do not flog above ten lashes except in a ḥadd punishment prescribed by Allāh.'
