حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ وَعَفَّانُ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي النُّعْمَانُ بْنُ سَالِمٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَمْرَو بْنَ أَوْسٍ قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو رَزِينٍ قَالَ عَفَّانُ فِي حَدِيثِهِ عَنْ أَب
ِي رَزِينٍ أَنَّهُ قَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّ أَبِي شَيْخٌ كَبِيرٌ لَا يُطِيقُ الْحَجَّ وَلَا الْعُمْرَةَ وَلَا الظَّعْنَ قَالَ حُجَّ عَنْ أَبِيكَ وَاعْتَمِرْ

English Translation
Bahz and ʿAffān narrated to us, they said: Shuʿbah narrated to us, al-Nuʿmān ibn Sālim informed me, he said: I heard ʿAmr ibn Aws who said: Abū Razīn said — ʿAffān said in his narration: from Abū Razīn — who said: 'O Messenger of Allāh, my father is an old man who can no longer perform Ḥajj, ʿUmrah, or travel.' He said: 'Perform Ḥajj on behalf of your father and perform ʿUmrah.'
