حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ جُمَيْعٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي الْجَهْمِ قَالَ أَقْبَلْتُ أَنَا وَزَيْدُ بْنُ حَسَنٍ بَيْنَنَا ابْنُ رُمَّانَةَ مَوْلَى عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ مَرْوَانَ قَدْ نَصَبْنَا لَهُ أَيْدِيَنَا فَهُوَ مُتَّكِئٌ عَلَيْهَا دَاخِل
َ الْمَسْجِدِ مَسْجِدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَنَهَى ابْنَ نِيَارٍ رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأَرْسَلَ إِلَى أَبِي بَكْرٍ ائْتِنِي فَأَتَاهُ فَقَالَ رَأَيْتُ ابْنَ رُمَّانَةَ بَيْنَكُمَا يَتَوَكَّأُ عَلَيْكَ وَعَلَى زَيْدِ بْنِ حَسَنٍ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ لَنْ تَذْهَبَ الدُّنْيَا حَتَّى تَكُونَ عِنْدَ لُكَعِ ابْنِ لُكَعٍ

English Translation
Abū Nuʿaym narrated to us, al-Walīd — meaning Ibn ʿAbdillāh ibn Jumayʿ — narrated to us, he said: Abū Bakr ibn Abī al-Jahm narrated to me, he said: I and Zayd ibn Ḥasan came, and between us was Ibn Rummānah — the freed slave of ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz ibn Marwān — who had come from ʿUmar ibn ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz. He said: ʿUmar ibn ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz told me: The son of Abū Burdah ibn Niyār narrated to me from his father, from his grandfather, that the Prophet ﷺ said: 'Fire is a punishment by which Allāh عز وجل punishes. So whoever kills by burning, Allāh will punish him with fire.'
