حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ الْبُرْسَانِيُّ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الْحَمِيدِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا أَبِي عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ م
ِينَاءَ عَنْ أَبِي سَعْدِ بْنِ أَبِي فَضَالَةَ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ وَكَانَ مِنْ الصَّحَابَةِ أَنَّهُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ إِذَا جَمَعَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ الْأَوَّلِينَ وَالْآخِرِينَ لِيَوْمٍ لَا رَيْبَ فِيهِ نَادَى مُنَادٍ مَنْ كَانَ أَشْرَكَ فِي عَمَلٍ عَمِلَهُ لِلَّهِ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى أَحَدًا فَلْيَطْلُبْ ثَوَابَهُ مِنْ عِنْدِ غَيْرِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ أَغْنَى الشُّرَكَاءِ عَنْ الشِّرْكِ

English Translation
Muḥammad ibn Bakr al-Bursānī narrated to us, he said: ʿAbd al-Ḥamīd ibn Jaʿfar informed us, he said: my father informed us, from Ziyād ibn Mīnāʾ, from Abū Saʿd ibn Abī Faḍālah al-Anṣārī — and he was one of the Companions — who said: I heard the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ say: 'When Allāh gathers the first and the last on the Day of Resurrection — a Day about which there is no doubt — a caller will call out: Whoever used to associate anything in his deeds intended for Allāh, let him seek his reward from other than Allāh, for Allāh is the most Self-Sufficient of all partners from any association.'
