قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ زَمْعَةَ قَالَ خَطَبَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَذَكَرَ النَّاقَةَ وَذَكَرَ الَّذِي عَقَرَهَا فَقَالَ { إِذْ انْبَعَثَ أَشْقَاهَا } انْبَعَثَ لَهَا رَجُلٌ عَارِمٌ عَزِيزٌ مَنِيعٌ فِي رَهْطِهِ مِثْلُ أَ
بِي زَمْعَةَ ثُمَّ ذَكَرَ النِّسَاءَ فَوَعَظَهُمْ فِيهِنَّ فَقَالَ عَلَامَ يَجْلِدُ أَحَدُكُمْ امْرَأَتَهُ جَلْدَ الْعَبْدِ وَلَعَلَّهُ يُضَاجِعُهَا مِنْ آخِرِ يَوْمِهِ ثُمَّ وَعَظَهُمْ فِي ضَحِكِهِمْ مِنْ الضَّرْطَةِ فَقَالَ عَلَامَ يَضْحَكُ أَحَدُكُمْ عَلَى مَا يَفْعَلُ

English Translation
Ibn Numayr narrated to us, Hishām narrated to us, from his father, from ʿAbdullāh ibn Zamʿah who said: The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ gave a sermon and mentioned the she-camel [of Ṣāliḥ] and the one who hamstrung her, and said: 'When the most wretched of them rose up' [91:12] — 'There rose up for her a man, fierce, powerful, and invincible among his clan, like Abū Zamʿah.' Then he mentioned women and admonished them regarding them, saying: 'Why does one of you whip his wife as one whips a slave, when he may lie with her at the end of his day?' Then he admonished them regarding their laughing at flatulence, saying: 'Why does one of you laugh at what he himself does?'
