حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحُ بْنُ عُبَادَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نَعَامَةَ الْعَدَوِيُّ عَنْ مُسْلِمِ بْنِ بُدَيْلٍ عَنْ إِيَاسِ بْنِ زُهَيْرٍ عَنْ سُوَيْدِ بْنِ هُبَيْرَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ خَيْرُ مَالِ الْمَرْءِ
لَهُ مُهْرَةٌ مَأْمُورَةٌ أَوْ سِكَّةٌ مَأْبُورَةٌ وَقَالَ رَوْحٌ فِي بَيْتِهِ وَقِيلَ لَهُ إِنَّكَ قُلْتَ لَنَا سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ

English Translation
Rawḥ ibn ʿUbādah narrated to us, he said: Abū Nuʿāmah al-ʿAdawī narrated to us, from Muslim ibn Budayl, from Iyās ibn Zuhayr, from Suwayd ibn Hubayrah, from the Prophet ﷺ, who said: 'The best wealth for a man is a breeding mare that produces one after another, or a date-palm whose top is harvested while its roots yield dates — or a mare that is well-managed and produces offspring.'
