حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا ثَابِتٌ قَالَ قَدِمَ عَلَيْنَا سُلَيْمَانُ مَوْلًى لِلْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ زَمَنَ الْحَجَّاحِ فَحَدَّثَنَا عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ
اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ جَاءَ ذَاتَ يَوْمٍ وَالْبِشْرُ يُرَى فِي وَجْهِهِ فَقُلْنَا إِنَّا لَنَرَى الْبِشْرَ فِي وَجْهِكَ فَقَالَ إِنَّهُ أَتَانِي مَلَكٌ فَقَالَ يَا مُحَمَّدُ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ يَقُولُ أَمَا يُرْضِيكَ أَنْ لَا يُصَلِّيَ عَلَيْكَ أَحَدٌ مِنْ أُمَّتِكَ إِلَّا صَلَّيْتُ عَلَيْهِ عَشْرًا وَلَا يُسَلِّمُ عَلَيْكَ إِلَّا سَلَّمْتُ عَلَيْهِ عَشْرًا

English Translation
ʿAffān narrated to us, he said: Ḥammād ibn Salamah narrated to us, he said: Thābit informed us, he said: Sulaymān, the freedman of al-Ḥasan ibn ʿAlī, came to us during the time of al-Ḥajjāj, and he narrated to us from ʿAbdullāh ibn Abī Ṭalḥah, from his father, that the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ came one day with joy visible on his face. We said: We can see joy on your face. He said: "Indeed, an angel came to me and said: 'O Muḥammad, your Lord says: Does it not please you that no one from your ummah sends prayers upon you except that I pray upon him ten times, and no one sends greetings of peace upon you except that I return peace upon him ten times?'"
