قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ قَالَ حَدَّثَتْنِي أُمُّ كُلْثُومٍ ابْنَةُ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ أَتَيْتُهَا بِصَدَقَةٍ كَانَ أُمِرَ بِهَا قَالَتْ أَحَدُ رَبَائِبِنَا فَإِنّ
َ مَيْمُونَ أَوْ مِهْرَانَ مَوْلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَخْبَرَنِي أَنَّهُ مَرَّ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ لَهُ يَا مَيْمُونُ أَوْ يَا مِهْرَانُ إِنَّا أَهْلُ بَيْتٍ نُهِينَا عَنْ الصَّدَقَةِ وَإِنَّ مَوَالِيَنَا مِنْ أَنْفُسِنَا وَلَا نَأْكُلُ الصَّدَقَةَ

English Translation
ʿAbd al-Razzāq narrated to us, Sufyān narrated to us, from ʿAṭāʾ ibn al-Sāʾib, he said: Umm Kulthūm bint ʿAlī narrated to me. He said: I came to her with a charitable donation that had been directed. She said: 'One of our step-children, for Maymūn — or Mihrān — the freed slave of the Prophet ﷺ informed me that he passed by the Prophet ﷺ who said to him: "O Maymūn — or O Mihrān — we are a household that has been forbidden from accepting charity. And our freed slaves are of us, and we do not eat charity."'
