English Translation
Yaḥyā ibn Saʿīd narrated to us, from Hishām, he said: My father narrated to me, from ʿAbdullāh ibn Arqam, that he went out from Makkah — and he used to lead them in prayer and call the adhān and iqāmah. One day he called the iqāmah then said: 'Let one of you lead the prayer, for I heard the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ say: "If one of you needs to relieve himself and the prayer has been called, let him go relieve himself first."'
