حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا دَاوُدُ بْنُ قَيْسٍ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَقْرَمَ
قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي أَنَّهُ كَانَ مَعَ أَبِيهِ بِالْقَاعِ مِنْ نَمِرَةَ فَمَرَّ بِنَا رَكْبٌ فَقَالَ أَبِي يَا بُنَيَّ كُنْ فِي بَهْمِكَ حَتَّى آتِيَ هَؤُلَاءِ الْقَوْمَ فَأُسَائِلَهُمْ فَدَنَا وَدَنَوْتُ فَكُنْتُ أَنْظُرُ إِلَى عُفْرَتَيْ إِبْطَيْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ سَاجِدٌ

English Translation
ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn Mahdī narrated to us, he said: Dāwūd ibn Qays narrated to us, from ʿUbaydullāh ibn ʿAbdillāh ibn Aqram, he said: My father narrated to me that he was with his father at al-Qāʿ near Namirah. A caravan passed by us, and my father said: 'O my son, stay with your young animals until I go meet those people.' He drew near and I drew near, and I could see the whiteness of the armpits of the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ while he was prostrating.
