حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا دَاوُدُ بْنُ قَيْسٍ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَقْرَمَ الْخُزَاعِيِّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ كُنْتُ مَعَ أَبِي أَقْرَمَ بِالْقَاعِ قَالَ فَمَرَّ بِنَا رَكْبٌ فَأَنَاخُوا بِنَاحِيَةِ الطَّرِيقِ فَقَالَ لِي أَبِي
أَيْ بُنَيَّ كُنْ فِي بَهْمِكَ حَتَّى آتِيَ هَؤُلَاءِ الْقَوْمَ وَأُسَائِلَهُمْ قَالَ فَخَرَجَ وَخَرَجْتُ فِي أَثَرِهِ فَإِذَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ فَحَضَرَتْ الصَّلَاةُ فَصَلَّيْتُ مَعَهُ فَكُنْتُ أَنْظُرُ إِلَى عُفْرَتَيْ إِبْطَيْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كُلَّمَا سَجَدَ

English Translation
Wakīʿ narrated to us, he said: Dāwūd ibn Qays narrated to us, from ʿUbaydullāh ibn ʿAbdillāh ibn Aqram al-Khuzāʿī, from his father who said: I was with my father Aqram at al-Qāʿ. A caravan passed by us and dismounted by the side of the road. My father said to me: 'O my son, stay with your young animals until I go meet those people.' He went out and I went out following him, and there was the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ. The time for prayer came, and I prayed with him. I could see the whiteness of the armpits of the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ every time he prostrated.
