English Translation
Wakīʿ narrated to us, he said: al-Aʿmash narrated to us, from Sallām Abū Shuraḥbīl, who said: I heard Ḥabbah and Sawāʾ, the two sons of Khālid, say: We came to the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ while he was doing some work — or building a structure — and we helped him in it. When he finished or nearly finished, he said: 'Do not despair of sustenance as long as your heads move, for a person's mother gives birth to him red, with nothing on him, and then Allāh تبارك وتعالى provides for him.'
