حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ أَرْطَاةَ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ قَالَ حَ
فِظْنَا عَنْ ثَلَاثِينَ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ مَنْ أَعْتَقَ شِقْصًا لَهُ فِي مَمْلُوكٍ ضَمِنَ بَقِيَّتَهُ

English Translation
Yazīd ibn Hārūn narrated to us, he said: Ḥajjāj ibn Arṭāh narrated to us, from ʿAmr ibn Shuʿayb, from Saʿīd ibn al-Musayyib who said: We memorized from thirty Companions of the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ that he said: 'Whoever frees a share (shiqṣ) that he owns in a slave, he bears responsibility for the remainder of the price.'
