قَالَ وَأُتِيَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِرَجُلٍ فَقَالُوا هَذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يَقْتُلَكَ فَقَالَ لَهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَمْ تُرَعْ لَمْ تُرَعْ وَلَوْ أَرَدْتَ ذَلِكَ لَمْ يُسَلِّطْكَ اللَّهُ عَلَيَّ
English Translation
He (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that and a man was brought to the Prophet ﷺ, and they said: 'This man wanted to kill you.' the Prophet ﷺ said to him: 'Do not be frightened, do not be frightened. Even if you had intended that, Allāh would not have given you power over me.'
