English Translation
ʿAbd al-Ṣamad narrated to us, Shuʿbah narrated to us, Abū Isrāʾīl narrated to us in the house of Qatādah, who said: I heard Jaʿdah — and he was the freed slave of Abū Isrāʾīl — say: I saw the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ, and a man was telling him about a dream. He was a well-built man — or a fat man — and the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ poked his belly and said: 'If this were somewhere else, it would have been better for you' — referring to thinness.
