حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ مَيْسَرَةَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ كُرْدُوسًا قَالَ أَخْبَ
رَنِي رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ بَدْرٍ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَأَنْ أَقْعُدَ فِي مِثْلِ هَذَا الْمَجْلِسِ أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ مِنْ أَنْ أُعْتِقَ أَرْبَعَ رِقَابٍ

English Translation
Bahz narrated to us, Shuʿbah narrated to us, he said: ʿAbd al-Malik ibn Maysarah informed me, who said: I heard Kurdūs say: A man from the Companions of Badr informed me, from the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ, who said: 'That I should sit in a gathering like this — (meaning a gathering of dhikr) — is more beloved to me than freeing four slaves.'
