English Translation

Ḥammād ibn Masʿadah narrated to us, from Yazīd, from Salamah, that he used to deliberately choose the spot near the Muṣḥaf [to pray]. He mentioned that the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ used to deliberately choose that spot. Between the minbar and the qiblah there was room for a sheep to pass.
