ʿAbd al-Razzāq narrated to us, Maʿmar informed us, from Ḥumayd al-Aʿraj, from Muḥammad ibn Ibrāhīm al-Taymī, from ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn Muʿādh, from a man among the Companions of the Prophet ﷺ, he said: the Prophet ﷺ addressed the people at Minā and assigned them their positions. He said: Let the Muhājirūn camp here — and he pointed to the right of the qiblah — and the Anṣār here — and he pointed to the left of the qiblah — then let the people camp around them. He said: And he taught them their rites of Ḥajj. The ears of the people of Minā were opened until they heard him in their dwellings. He said: I heard him say: Stone the Jamrah with pebbles the size of khadhf-stones. ʿAbdullāh said: I heard Muṣʿab al-Zubayrī say: Abū Ṭalḥah the storyteller came to Mālik ibn Anas and said: O Abū ʿAbdillāh, some people have forbidden me from narrating this ḥadīth — ṣallā Allāhu ʿalā Ibrāhīm, innaka Ḥamīdun Majīd, wa-ʿalā Muḥammad wa-ʿalā ahli baytihi wa-ʿalā azwājihi (O Allāh, send blessings upon Ibrāhīm, indeed You are Praiseworthy, Glorious, and upon Muḥammad and upon his household and upon his wives). Mālik said: Narrate it and tell it.
