قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ الْحَنَفِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ جَعْفَرٍ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ عَنِ ابْنَةِ كَرْدَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهَا أَنَّهُ سَأَلَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ إِنِّي نَذَرْتُ أَنْ أَنْحَرَ ثَلَاثَةً مِنْ إِبِلِي فَقَالَ إِنْ كَانَ عَلَى جَمْعٍ مِنْ جَمْعِ الْجَاهِلِيّ
َةِ أَوْ عَلَى عِيدٍ مِنْ أَعْيَادِ الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ أَوْ عَلَى وَثَنٍ فَلَا وَإِنْ كَانَ عَلَى غَيْرِ ذَلِكَ فَاقْضِ نَذْرَكَ قَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّ عَلَى أُمِّ هَذِهِ الْجَارِيَةِ مَشْيًا أَفَأَمْشِي عَنْهَا قَالَ نَعَمْ

English Translation
Abū Bakr al-Ḥanafī narrated to us, he said: Ibn Jaʿfar narrated to us, from ʿAmr ibn Shuʿayb, from the daughter of Kardamah, from her father: He asked the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ and said: I vowed to slaughter three of my camels. He said: If it was upon a gathering of Jāhiliyyah, or upon a festival of Jāhiliyyah, or upon an idol, then no. But if it was upon other than that, then fulfill your vow. He said: O Messenger of Allāh, the mother of this girl has a vow to walk (on pilgrimage) — shall I walk on her behalf? He said: Yes.
