قَالَ عَبْد اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنَا عُقْبَةُ بْنُ مُكْرَمٍ الْعَمِّيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سَلْمُ بْنُ قُتَيْبَةَ عَنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أَوْسَطَ عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ أَسَدِ بْنِ كُرْزٍ سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ الْمَرِيضُ تَحَاتُّ خَطَايَاهُ كَمَا يَتَحَاتُّ وَرَقُ الشَّجَرِ
English Translation
ʿAbdullāh said: ʿUqbah ibn Mukram al-ʿAmmī narrated to us, he said: Salm ibn Qutaybah narrated to us, from Yūnus ibn Abī Isḥāq, from Ismāʿīl ibn Awsaṭ, from Khālid ibn ʿAbdillāh, from his grandfather Asad ibn Kurz: He heard the Prophet ﷺ say: The sins of the sick person fall away as the leaves of a tree fall away.
