حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ دِينَارٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنِ الصَّعْبِ بْ
نِ جَثَّامَةَ قَالَ أُوتِيَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِوَدَّانَ بِحِمَارِ وَحْشٍ فَرَدَّهُ وَقَالَ إِنَّا حُرُمٌ لَا نَأْكُلُ الصَّيْدَ

English Translation
ʿAbdullāh narrated to us, he said: Muḥammad ibn Abī Bakr narrated to me, he said: Ḥammād narrated to us, ʿAmr ibn Dīnār narrated to us, from Ibn ʿAbbās, from al-Ṣaʿb ibn Jaththāmah, he said: The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ was brought a wild donkey at Waddān, and he returned it saying: We are in a state of iḥrām; we do not eat hunted game.
