Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ عَنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي حَنَشٌ قَا
لَ كُنَّا مَعَ رُوَيْفِعِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ غَزْوَةَ جَرَبَّةَ فَقَسَمَهَا عَلَيْنَا وَقَالَ لَنَا رُوَيْفِعٌ مَنْ أَصَابَ مِنْ هَذَا السَّبْيِ فَلَا يَطَؤُهَا حَتَّى تَحِيضَ فَإِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ لَا يَحِلُّ لِرَجُلٍ أَنْ يَسْقِيَ مَاءَهُ وَلَدَ غَيْرِهِ

English Translation
Ḥasan ibn Mūsā narrated to us, he said: Ibn Lahīʿah narrated to us, from al-Ḥārith ibn Yazīd, he said: Ḥanash narrated to me, he said: We were with Ruwayfiʿ ibn Thābit on the expedition of Jarabbah. He distributed the spoils among us and Ruwayfiʿ said to us: "Whoever has taken any of these captive women, let him not have intercourse with her until she menstruates, for I heard the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ saying: 'It is not lawful for a man to water another's child with his own water.'"
