حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ عِيسَى أَنْبَأَنَا مَالِكٌ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ عُثْمَانَ عَنْ أَبِي عَمْرَةَ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ ع
َنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ الْجُهَنِيِّ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ قَالَ إِسْحَاقُ قَالَ إِنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ أَلَا أُخْبِرُكُمْ بِخَيْرِ الشُّهَدَاءِ الَّذِي يَأْتِي بِالشَّهَادَةِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُسْأَلَهَا

English Translation
Isḥāq ibn ʿĪsā narrated to us, Mālik informed us, from ʿAbdullāh ibn Abī Bakr, from his father, from ʿAbdullāh ibn ʿAmr ibn ʿUthmān, from Abū ʿAmrah al-Anṣārī, from Zayd ibn Khālid al-Juhanī — if Allāh wills. Isḥāq said: he said that the Prophet ﷺ said: "Shall I not inform you of the best of witnesses? The one who comes forward with his testimony before he is asked for it."
