حَدَّثَنَا صَفْوَانُ بْنُ عِيسَى قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُمَارَةَ عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْ
رٍو عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ الْجُهَنِيِّ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ أَلَا أُخْبِرُكُمْ بِخَيْرِ الشَّهَادَةِ الَّذِينَ يَبْدَءُونَ بِشَهَادَتِهِمْ مِنْ غَيْرِ أَنْ يُسْأَلُوا عَنْهَا

English Translation
Ṣafwān ibn ʿĪsā narrated to us, he said: Muḥammad ibn ʿUmārah informed us, from Abū Bakr ibn Muḥammad, from ʿAbdullāh ibn ʿAmr, from Zayd ibn Khālid al-Juhanī: that the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: "Shall I not inform you of the best witnesses? Those who come forward with their testimony before they are asked for it."
